let us not forget the previous Clinton years...
Paying the Price for the Clinton Years

By | Eric D Christ (Sun City, Arizona United States) - See all my reviews |
Think Clinton was responsible for the booming economy of the 1990s? Nope - the recover was underway before he even was elected. Think he erased the deficit? Wrong - gushing tax revenues did that, and a Republican Congress that imposed a slim veneer of fiscal discipline. Think he was serious about "reforming welfare as we know it?" Think again - he signed that bill only because he thought it was necessary for his reelection, and then he vowed to supporters that he'd fix it, though he never did.

When the time is right, the Clintons will see to the leaking of the GRU archives on McCain to the media. Bet on it, just as you can bet they'll follow it up with media disclosures of the lady lobbyists in Washington having adulterous affairs with McCain. (There are at least three of them; I know the name of one, but I'm not going to put it in writing.)
Maybe McCain will try to fight back by confirming Hillary's well-known bisexuality and her lesbian affair with her beautiful assistant, Huma Abedin. Google "Hillary" and "Huma Abedin," and you'll get almost 6,000 hits. Turns out Huma is a Muslim who grew up in Saudi Arabia and is strongly suspected of working for Saudi intelligence.

HOT AND COLD
Hillary Clinton’s day in Wisconsin didn’t exactly go as planned with a snow storm striking, keeping her confined to the Milwaukee area. But she did make the best of the cold, nasty weather, hitting the popular local diner, Katie’s, and then managing to indulge her taste in hot peppers.
In fact, an impromptu stop at the El Rey supermarket on Cesar E. Chavez Drive turned out to be a pepper bonanza.
Inside, was a bodega patron’s dream, with aisles and aisles stocked with various different ethnic Hispanic foods, and a really impressive produce section complete with cactus and more kinds of pepper than we could identify.
Spotting an opportunity, Clinton grabbed a plastic bag, and picked a few peppers.
Her absurdly competent and energetic aide Huma Abedin offered one to a FOX reporter, who gamely took a few chomps. When we found him, his ears were pink and there was a sheen of sweat popping out across his forehead.

Hillary: Garnish wages for my health plan?
Hillary Clinton, on the morning shows (George Stephanopoulos), says garnishing (seizing) a portion of people's wages is one option on the table for enforcing the individual mandate to buy health insurance that is part of her universal coverage.
Of course, it's been one of the options on the table since she unveiled the plan last summer, but much of the press never made anything about it until Obama started attacking the idea of requring people to pay for something they either didn't want or didn't think they could afford from a libertarian point of view.
She says, with subsidies and premium reductions, everyone will be able to afford it, and lashes back at Obama: "It's so reminiscent of old 'Harry and Louise' talking about how, 'Oh, the sky will fall if we try to have universal health care.' He's playing right in to all of the arguments against this core value of the Democratic Party,"
But still -- does she really want to be making the case for wage garnishment two days before Super Tuesday?

“I thank heavens for small favors and the attention has shifted and now maybe people won’t have to tune in and hear me screeching about ‘The Star Spangled Banner,” she said, alluding to another YouTube video that is one of the most watched about her on the site.

Think you can choose your health care plan?
In a day dominated by familiar stump speeches, Hillary Clinton made news by saying she might allow workers' wages to be garnisheed if they refuse to buy health insurance. She has criticized Obama for pushing a health plan that she says would not require universal coverage.
Pressed on how she would enforce her mandate, Clinton said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."
She said such measures would apply only to workers who can afford health coverage but refuse to buy it, which puts undue pressure on hospitals and emergency rooms. Under her plan, she said, health care "will be affordable for everyone" because she would limit premium payments "to a low percent of your income."
